The main road through Morisset leading all the way to Glendale will be renamed by mid 2013. The new name “Lake Macquarie Way” supports a sense of unity.
A combination of the current 13 roads is said to create less confusion, especially between Toronto and Woodrising where the name changes seven times in five kilometers.
The plan was first raised by Cr Wendy Harrison six years ago, and will affect the addresses of 1,400 land parcels.
