Local Boys Go for Gold – London 2012 Olympics

(Thursday 9th August 2012)

Iain Jensen and Nathan Outteridge, have won the 49er-class gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics when they flew to an unassailable lead going into the last race. Their success came less than three hours after Tom Slingsby, from Gosford, won Australia’s first individual gold medal, this was only the nation’s second in all sports at the London Olympics.

All the staff here at Ray White Morisset are very proud of both boys from Wangi Wangi. Especially Lucy Olejnik, who wakes up in the middle of the night to catch the races live from Weymouth, UK.
